This revolutionary showerhead offers a 70% water-saving effect compared to conventional showerheads and was launched in Japan in 2016, so some of you may already be familiar with it. The development of this innovative showerhead extensively utilized CFD technology through ANSYS Fluent. A fitness club owner was troubled by high water bills ↓ They created a prototype of a fine mist spray showerhead ↓ It was difficult to solve the problem of the spray particles being too fine (the droplet surface area was too large), causing the hot water temperature to cool down quickly ↓ They decided to implement ANSYS Fluent ↓ A vast parameter study was conducted, and research that was expected to take nine months was completed in one month ↓ Launched into the global market in the summer of 2016
